Biografia
Italian perfumer Antonio Gardoni develops fragrances for his own brand, Bogue , as well as for other brands such as Zoologist and Shekor , and for art projects and collaborations. Gardoni prefers to work at night, when the smells of the day have faded, and uses traditional methods such as infusing resins , woods , roots , and metals in alcohol to produce his own extracts. Gardoni obtains the essential oils for his creations through steam distillation. In addition to the fragrances from his Bogue brand collection, Gardoni offers an exclusive bespoke service called “Bogue-Tailor.” Here, he creates a tailor-made fragrance that captures the personality, memories, and desires of its wearer. Through a series of meetings and fragrance workshops, Gardoni works with his customers to develop individual compositions – whether for everyday use, special events such as weddings, or specific artistic projects. Each creation is based on handmade infusions and distillates from selected natural raw materials. In the “Bogue-Fumoir,” his creative space away from everyday life, customers and interested visitors can discover rare and unusual fragrances, gather new inspiration, and work directly with Gardoni on projects. This place combines the experience of smelling with creative development, so that every encounter is connected with a new fragrance journey.
